The Moorland Blue is a hybrid, bred from the Cream Crested Legbar as a commercial blue egg laying bird. A good proportion are crested and comb size varies. It is a active bird and thrives on free range.
A good sized bird, with 80% + laying a blue/green, medium to large egg, the remainder lay a range of pastel shades.
